Cardiac Rehab Session, with ECG monitoring Cardiac rehabilitation (rehab) generally includes monitored exercise, education on heart-healthy living, and counseling to reduce stress, with the goal of returning the patient to an active life. During the exercise portion of rehab, the heart’s electrical activity may be monitored using an electrocardiogram (ECG). Note: Estimates below are based on Medica Choice network contract rates and include facility fees only for one session of cardiac rehab with ECG monitoring (cardiac rehab programs are customized based on the patient’s needs and may include multiple sessions); physician and other professional fees may also apply.
