Hernia Repair, groin (inguinal)
An inguinal hernia occurs when a small portion of the bowel bulges out through the inguinal canal into the groin. This type of hernia is more common in men than women. When a hernia is large or causes a lot of pain, surgery is usually recommended. Note: Estimates below are based on Medica Choice network contract rates and only include facility fees for services on the date of the procedure; physician and other professional fees may apply, as well as costs for office visits before the procedure, medication and follow-up care.
